Anthony "Amp" Elmore who was so impressed with his treatment in Kenya in 1990, that in 1991 Elmore was the 1st to bring African/American on a Kenya Cultural Safari. Elmore spent his own money and he ran this television commercial via Memphis, Television to get individuals to travel to Africa. Elmore explains there is no one in America who understands better how to bring African/Americans to Africa. Kenya does not have African/American tours. In 1994 Anthony "Amp" Elmore created this documentary movie "African/Americans on a Kenya Safari." This is a 50 minute video whereas Elmore arranged an African/American tour. We visit an orphanage. Most important we show life in Kenya. Most African/Americans believe that Africans live in the Jungle and we have no idea what foods are served in Africa via Kenya. Click on the above picture to see documentary whereas Anthony "Amp" Elmore introduce Kickboxing in Kenya. Elmore promoted the 1st Kickboxing matches in Kenya at City Hall in March of 1994. Elmore notes that Nairobi, Kenya is the perfect friendly cosmopolitan Universal culture that is idea to host a major worldwide African/American cultural event. Elmore notes in the video that coming to Africa was a dream. In the beginning of the video Elmore meets a young Kenya boy. That boy is now a poplar Kenyan Dee Jay known as "Dee Jay Prodigy."
This above video was produced over a decade ago. In 2010 Elmore arranaged with Kenya Ambassador Peter Ogego to address the Kenya Parliament. The new ambassador Ekanah Odembo cancelled Elmore speaking to parliament. This is a 14 minute video Elmore produced a decade ago hoping to reach then Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta. Elmore explains how the "Safari Initiative" can bring Kenya to the 21st Century. Elmore at the time of this posting is asking the "African Union" to support the Safari Initiative.
Anthony "Amp" Elmore posted this video filmed in 2013 called the "Obama Ancestral Tour." Elmore is fighting to preserve this history as a tourist site for African/Americans who would like to walk the path of President Barack Obama Jr. Kenya never developed this site because "White Tourist are more interested in animals, whereas Black Americans would enjoy this tour. Mama Sarah Obama passed away March 29, 2021. The graves have been refurbished since this video. Anthony "Amp" Elmore wants insure that this site is preserved for future generations. Elmore posted pictures of his visit to Kenya via 4 x 8 billboard on his African home in "Orange Mound" in Memphis. Elmore explains that I am perhaps the only person in the world who has pictures of Kenya posted on his American home.

This is what African/Americans will find amazing about Kenya; there is a deep seated respect that Kenyans have for Americans. This respect stems from Kenya's Tom Mboya. Via this video you experience our trip to Nairobi October/November 2018. One year later at the exact time Kenya, Kisumu Governor and Kenya dignitaries visited Memphis.

I was just hanging in out in Nairob and I decided to baby myself by getting a hair cut and hiding all of this gray hair on my head. I decided to get a pedicure, manicure a dye job and a hair cut. Africa is so cool for Black person in America. There is a peace that an African/American will find in Africa that you cannot find in America. I want everyone to know how great it is to visit Africa.
Please click on the above video. I call this video "The Spirit of Kenya." I grabbed my little pocket video camera and I asked people "What is the Spirit of Kenya." Kenyans were so nice and peaceful. Every African/American should live life whereas they can find the peace being in Africa.
